Gateway Pods has been awarded the contract to supply bathroom pods for the two new Hilton hotels at The England Football Team’s new home at St George’s Park.

The £100million permanent new training base for all of England’s Football teams is due to open in Burton-upon-Trent in time for the 2012 Olympic Games.

The first hotel is the 86 bed Hampton by Hilton, labelled by Hilton as their ‘economy brand’ and is a continuation of Gateway Pod’s relationship with Hilton having previously supplied pods for five other Hilton hotels in a partnership that is set to continue.

The second hotel is their core hotel brand Hilton Hotels and Resorts hotel. The 142 bed hotel has 91 standard rooms, 41 executive rooms and 14 suites. This project perfectly demonstrates Gateway’s flexibility and bespoke design approach to be able to deliver four different bathroom pods of varying shapes and sizes within one complete project.
