Britspace has worked closely with Atkins to design 4 new arrivals and departures lounges at London City Airport.

The two-storey gate lounges are connected by a two-storey walkway running alongside the waters edge. A modular bridge links the new buildings to the airport.

Britspace completed the installation in phases, craning some modules during the night to ensure that any disruption to the increasingly busy airport was kept to an absolute minimum.

Britspace handed over the new sections of the airport at the end of May 2008.
