Gateway Pods is producing executive bathroom pods, to the standard of a 5* hotel for property investment and development leader Heron International.

Hailed by The Independent newspaper as a 'stunning new development that will transform the City's skyline' and described as 'unashamedly ritzy' by The Daily Express, the new The Heron residential apartment tower is the most significant residential development in The City of London's Square Mile in forty years. In an unrivalled location with exceptional views, the 248 collection of City apartments are due for completion in 2013.

Working closely with long-term partner Sir Robert McAlpine, Gateway Pods produced a prototype of each variant for the range of apartments to allow the client a true feel for the quality and high specification finish they expect from such a prestigious project. With a designated manufacture area, Gateway Pods will produce the 343 pods to fulfill the full order over a 3 month period.

Work has started on site by the Main Contractor, Sir Robert McAlpine with the piled foundations completed for the 36 storey tower. Gateway Pods is due to start installation of the luxury bathroom pods in Summer 2011.
